Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Sri Lanka. She's an actress, model and former and model who has worked primarily in the Indian film industry. She was also the runner-up in the prestigious 2007 Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant. Coming from a family that includes Canadian, Sri Lankan, and Malaysian descent, Fernandez spent the early part of her life in Bahrain. Her degree is in mass communication from the University of Sydney. She worked for many years as a TV reporter from Sri Lanka before she entered the world of modelling. In 2006, she took on the role of Sri Lanka's Miss Universe and became one the most sought-after models in Sri Lanka. The role of Jasmine in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Aladin' in 2009 during her professional tour through India. Her first major role came in 2011 when she was selected to play the role of female lead Priya in 'Murder 2'. Fernandez enjoyed a successful career after this film, it was both a hit in the theaters and in the eyes of reviews. Since then, she's appeared in films like Housefull 2 or 3, Race 2, Definition of Fear and Judwaa 2 She is an ambassador for many companies and has earned several prizes.
