Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. The daughter is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. The family was in Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area in London. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was a very difficult experience. She refused to learn English and hoped she could move back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after she left Northlands. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes and took part in plays. At 16, she left the school to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to work as an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to be a model.
